British singer Max George has been announced as Hits Radio's newest host, presenting the Friday evening show Friday Night Hits.

George, formerly of pop band The Wanted, commented 'I'm buzzing to be doing Friday nights, I can't wait to kickstart people's weekends and what better way to start my own weekend than playing some of the best tunes created from around the world! I've always loved listening to radio and I feel really proud that I've got my own show as big as this one across the UK on Hits Radio'.
